Principal and Founder
Bijan KHosraviani, PhD
Bijan has been in the energy consulting industry since 2006. His main areas of interest are energy efficiency, conservation, and renewable energy. He has helped countless homeowners and businesses save money and reduce their environmental impact through energy-efficient solutions.

Bijan is a PHIUS+ (Passive House) Rater and Verifier, RESENT Certified HERS Rater, BPI Building Analyst, ICC Residential Energy Inspector/Plans Examiner, and holds a Ph.D. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University.

Operations Manager
Pari Safiari
One of the most rewarding experiences for Pari is working with our team to service homeowners, architects, and builders toward building sustainable, energy-efficient projects. She believes each individual can do their small part to contribute to our environment. Her diverse background in information technologies, process control, project & sales management, have allowed her to assist with managing the workflow of our projects. Pari works both directly with clients and behind-the-scenes to keep our company flourishing.

Project HERS Rater, PHIUS, Verifier
Justin Benjaminsen
Justin's primary role as a HERS rater and PHIUS+ verifier is to ensure the successful completion of projects from start to finish. This includes initial analysis and discussions, field visits and testing during construction, as well as final testing and certification with energy modeling software. Thinking about reducing energy use and sustainability, especially in a field where many people might not consider, it is what attracted his attention to this growing industry.

HERS Rater, RESNET certified
Joe Remondi
Joe conducts inspections & performance tests to produce HERS ratings. As a key part of our AeroBarrier division, he leads the team in the field for applications of this cutting-edge air sealing technology. Joe relishes the opportunities for problem solving that his roles present, often calling on experiences from his 18 years in the flooring industry before joining A9. Outside of work, he takes pleasure from his bikeable commute, spending time with his family, and completing DIY projects at home.

HERS Rater, RESNET certified
Edward Smith
Edward has been with A9Green since the summer of 2023, He started as an intern through Mass CEC, and has now moved on to a full-time position as an energy efficiency specialist. He graduated from Suffolk University with a B.S in Environmental Science. At A9, Edward performs field inspections, energy modeling and assists with client communications. He wants to make a career out of improving our food, water and energy security and sustainability. He loves research and design projects that close loops and celebrate creativity.

Trinity O'Connor
Trinity started at A9 Green summer of 2024 after working as an intern through Mass CEC. Graduating from Fitchburg State University with a degree in Engineering Technology and a concentration in architecture, she has a passion for green design and building construction science. At A9 Green, Trinity assists with field inspections and aids in project management tasks. Outside of work, she can be found going on hikes and seeing her favorite artists in concert.

Marketing & Project Coordination
Fiona Broadie
Fiona is a Boston University graduate. Armed with a Bachelor's in Journalism, Fiona entered the working world in May 2023 and took on a variety of creative roles, including working as a videographer at a summer camp and a marketing assistant at Northeastern University. Fiona is passionate about helping the environment and is excited to use creative marketing skills and customer retention experience to amplify A9 Green's brand and continue their success with clients.

Energy Efficiency Specialist Intern
Peggy Ghasemlou
Peggy is a graduate of MIT with a focus on real estate and sustainability. Committed to driving meaningful change in the built environment, she is passionate about exploring innovative solutions for a greener future. Peggy actively seeks opportunities to contribute to transformative projects. Outside of work, she enjoys biking and staying engaged with the latest sustainability trends, always driven by the pursuit of a positive environmental impact.

Tamoghna Kommaraju (TK)
Tamoghna (TK) is a senior at Minuteman High School studying Engineering Technology. In the future, he plans on studying Management and Engineering for Manufacturing at the University of Connecticut.

At A9 Green, Tamoghna is looking to implement some of his business-tested SEO and website design skills to help improve A9 Green's online standing. He is also excited to learn more about A9 Green's services, energy codes and more all while helping contribute in a working environment and gaining hands-on industry experience.

Energy Efficiency Specialist Intern
Mark Logan
Mark is a senior at Minuteman High School, where he is studying Engineering Technology with plans to pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering at a four-year university. He is excited to gain practical experience in an engineering firm, particularly in understanding A9 Green’s services, building design processes, and industry standards. Mark loves to go out on inspections and supports a variety of tasks around the office, gaining valuable exposure to the day-to-day operations of an engineering environment.

Nat Bushley
Nat graduated from Bates College with a B.S. in Biology. He enjoys learning about all things science. In his free time, he enjoys reading, hiking, going on adventures and exploring Boston with his friends.

Keith Palmer-Poirier
Keith is a freshman studying Robotics Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. In the field, Keith aided in the completion of final inspections as well as AeroBarrier Sealing operations. In the office, Keith helped in the maintenance of equipment as well as updating the 3D models of different projects. Additionally, Keith completed his Senior Project at Minuteman Technical High School by explaining the HERS rating process.

Molly Igoe
Having recently graduated from UMass Amherst, Molly is excited to put her Environmental Science studies to work. Starting as Project Coordinator Associate intern this September, she is passionate about energy efficiency and integrating sustainability into everyday life. Her prior internship working for Natick's Conservation Agent exposed her to the rigorous permitting process for new construction, so she is excited to work to help those through that journey by optimizing their homes' efficiency for a more sustainable future.

Tyler Reid
Tyler is a freshman studying Electrical Engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology. In the field Tyler aids in the completion of midpoints, final inspections and AeroBarrier Sealing operations. In the office, Tyler helps with maintenance of vehicles and equipment, as well as updating projects and 3D models. Fun fact: Tyler once got slapped in the face by a shark while swimming in the Bahamas!

Arman Mustafa
As a first-gen college student, I'm a sophomore at BHCC studying mechanical engineering with a focus on aerospace. I am planning to transfer to a 4 year university after getting my associates . I'm pumped to start my first internship at A9 Green. It's my first gig in this field, and I'm ready to dive into energy modeling code, especially in Massachusetts. This summer, I'm all about learning new stuff and gaining skills to help A9 Green while boosting myself professionally and academically. I hope to gain insight about the services provided by the company and build up my resume as much as possible.

Eliza recently graduated from Occidental College in Los Angeles, where she studied urban and environmental policy with a minor in computer science. Born and raised in Boston, Eliza is passionate about the intersection of sustainability and urban life, and hopes to get into city planning. At A9, she is helping with project coordination and database maintenance.

Claire Wigglesworth
Claire Wigglesworth (she/her) interned at A9 Green as an energy efficiency specialist in summer of 2023. She focused on energy modeling, site-inspections for HERS ratings, and a literature review investigating the embodied carbon and health impacts from spray foam insulation. She graduated in May of 2024 with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Public Policy.
